Overview of the NeuroomNet CMS
This chapter introduces the NeuroomNet CMS.
History
The NeuroomNet CMS was originally developed for internal use in typical museum and exhibition projects. Its primary purpose was to simplify collaboration between media designers / designers and programmers during the project, and after the project to enable the client to independently maintain the content.
As a generic Headless CMS, however, NeuroomNet CMS can be used flexibly to meet almost any CMS requirements.
Features
The NeuroomNet CMS is a Headless CMS with the following features
- Integrated but completely optional CMS frontend for data maintenance
- Usable together with or separately from NeuroomNet
- Flexible permission system and in particular multi-tenancy capable
- HTTP-based programming interface for
- Creating and modifying data structures stored in the CMS
- Retrieving data from the CMS
- Writing data to the CMS
- Cost-effective, especially when used together with NeuroomNet
