iSMaster administration module
iSMaster is an inSynergie software for media control. It is the predecessor of NeuroomNet, so to speak. It is still often used as a sub-media controller, which takes over certain subtasks, especially when it comes to controlling older devices.
In such a setup, the iSMaster usually runs on a dedicated computer and can then be remotely controlled by NeuroomNet as a component. In the iSMaster Administration module (also known as MasterLink), such iSMaster instances can be created and configured on the NeuroomNet side.
In the following example, 3 iSMasters are available as components and the currently selected one ("JOCHEN", 1) has 4 available actions:
An iSMaster component is addressed by NeuroomNet via its so-called proxy address 2. This consists of the IP of the computer, combined with the port 13982/ml, e.g.
ws://192.168.xxx.xxx:13982/ml
Actions can be defined for each iSMaster component on the NeuroomNet side, such as 3 with parameters 4. The same actions must of course be available (i.e. scripted) in the iSMaster so that sending these actions to the respective iSMaster has an effect.
In addition to actions, events can of course also be defined in the same way.
